Pa Kua Chuan
Pa Kua Chuan’s 8 Palm Changes are the root of the system. From the 8 Palm Changes comes all of the other forms, techniques, and principles of this style. Before you do the Palm Changes, be sure to have reviewed the instruction on the Palms and Stances.
Return Body Palm
Return Body Palm should first be practiced stationary on the left side moving in a counterclockwise direction. Once these movements are learned, you should do the right side or mirror image of the Return Body Palm going in a clockwise direction. Once you have practiced this stationary for about 1 month, or as long as it takes to properly execute this palm change, you then would move on to doing the palm change walking or continuous.
