Academy - Learning at our location...
I started Northern Shaolin Kung Fu training in 1973 in downtown NYC at the 5 Tiger Martial Arts Center, under Shifu Nelson Tsou and Master Henry Gong. I have studied other styles for example Wah Lum Kung Fu (Praying Mantis)in the late 70's in Newfoundland NJ; Taekwondo in Sparta NJ under Il Kwon Kim; Aikido Hombu style under Sensei Greg O'Connor in NJ, and Aikido Iwama style under Sensei Bob Molerio in Brodheadsville Pa. And Lung Jop Pai Kung Fu under Sifu Rex McCoy in Easton Pa. The reason why I do Northern Shaolin Kung Fu and have always been attracted to this style is because I feel a deep rooted connection. As strange as that might sound. This Northern Shaolin Kung fu has everything that I have learned in other styles; it is precise, and all the movements make sense. I just enjoy doing the Forms and learning more and more about the system. I just can't get enough of it. I would like to learn the other internal styles at China Hand when Shifu thinks I'm ready. Can't wait!
I actually started online training with China Hand in 2007. And then joined the academy in 2009. Best move I've ever made.

Coming of Full Circle. In the early 80's I was a student at the Peter Kwok school in Totowa under Shifu Randy Elias school in NJ. In the mid 80's and 90's I studied privately under Shifu Greg Pinney graduate of Peter Kwok school. In early 2000, I enrolled my two kids and myself at Little River Kung Fu school under Shifu Maralynn Cooper another graduate of Peter Kwok school. And now I am currently taking private lessons under Shifu Ruggieri. One full circle and loving every minute of my training.
